Algorithmic inequality: governance, representation and rights in AI

During the meeting held this morning at the institution’s headquarters, the plenary session of CIDOB’s Board proposed Josep Borrell, head of European diplomacy for the past five years, as President of the institution, with the aim of strengthening the international positioning of this leading centre in the study of international relations. He will assume office soon, once the necessary administrative procedures have been completed.

The forum, organised by CIDOB with the support of Banco Santander, featured the participation of 20 of the 140 young leaders who make up the four Santander-CIDOB 35 under 35 lists. The participants tackled key issues such as the regulation of emerging technologies, the fight against disinformation, and European digital sovereignty.
