Contact form

  • Why we use your data? We will process your data to answer your requests, questions or queries. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
  • How long we keep your data? Your personal information will be retained until such time as we have replied to your request and carried out the appropriate action. Afterwards, it will be erased unless it implies responsibilities for CIDOB.

Registering as a member

  • Why we use your data? We will process your data to manage the services associated with your membership, details of which can be found on the website.
  • How long we keep your data? Your personal information will be retained until such time as you ask to cancel your membership and will be kept solely for historical archiving purposes.

Registering for activities

  • Why we use your data? We will process your data to manage the activity you have registered for and, if you have given your consent, its public dissemination.
  • How long we keep your data? Your personal data will be retained for the time required to organise the activity you have registered for. Afterwards, it will be erased unless it implies responsibilities for CIDOB.

You provide us with your data voluntarily at all times and therefore guarantee that the personal data provided is truthful. You are responsible for the veracity of the data provided and we reserve the right to exclude from the services any user who has provided false data, without prejudice to other action that may be appropriate in law.

Under no circumstances will there be automated decision-making based on your data.

The data you provide will be processed solely for the purpose for which you are informed and give your consent. We will not pass on data to third parties unless you have given your express consent.

The legal basis for processing your data is the performance of the services you have requested and to which you have given your express consent.

In order to guarantee the services provided by CIDOB, your data may be processed by third parties dedicated to this purpose, as in the case of the hosting of our web services, delivery of our newsletter, etc. This handling of your data is carried out solely and exclusively to guarantee the provision, security and availability of the services we offer; we guarantee that these third parties will implement the measures and best information security practices.

All our service providers are in the European Economic Area.

The Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.agpd.es) is the supervisory body that oversees compliance with data protection legislation in Spain. If you believe that CIDOB has failed to comply with any of the rules laid down in the regulations, you can file a complaint with this body.
