CIDOB and ESADEgeo
On Thursday May 26, from 12 to 14 hours, CIDOB and ESADEgeo will jointly organize a round table with the participation of David Coen, professor at the University College London, and Angel Saz Carranza, director of ESADEgeo. It will be moderated by Pol Morillas, research fellow in European affairs at CIDOB.
The session will address the relationship of the EU with lobbyists operating in it and will tackle the following questions: What are the existing mechanisms for dialogue between the EU and these stakeholders? Are there forms of democratic control over the lobbies accessible for citizens? Is a voluntary register of their actions enough to regulate their influence?
