European Breakfast with Jo Leinen. “EU-China in the New International Context”

CIDOB and the Catalan Council of the European Movement, with the support of the Europe for Citizens programme, organise a European Breakfast-Jaime Arias on March 10 with the participation of Jo Leinen, chair of the European Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with the People’s Republic of China, as a special guest.

Jo Leinen is the president of the International European Movement since 2011 and Member of the European Parliament since 1999. He is currently the chairman of the European Delegation for Relations with the People’s Republic of China and member of the Constitutional Affairs, Environment and Foreign Affairs Committees. He was the chairman of the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee from 2009 to 2012 and the chairman of the Constitutional Affairs Committee between 2004 and 2009. He was also Minister of Environment in the federal state Saarland between 1985 and 1994. Jo Leinen is also Honorary President of the Union of European Federalists (UEF). He studied Law and Economics.
