In October 2015, Cecilia Malmström, European Union Trade Commissioner, presented Trade for All, the trade strategy of the European Commission for the next years. While preserving the European social and regulatory model at home, bilateral and multilateral trade agreements will be pursued so as to improve market access in third countries and contribute to boost jobs, growth and investment in the EU.
This seminar aims to analyze and discuss Trade for All from different perspectives based in current debates on international trade:
1) Debate on multilateralism-bilateralism
2) Debate on the limits of trade liberalization
3) Debate on the EU role in the world
