In this new edition of CIDOB In conversation with, Serge Stroobants, Director of Europe and the MENA region at the Institute for Economics and Peace, will present the Global Terrorism Index (GTI), an annual publication produced by the Institute for Economics and Peace. This report quantitatively analyses the trends and patterns of terrorism. With an analysis and measure of 4 weighted indicators, the GTI is able to publish the relative impact of terrorism and its associated costs. The GTI also provides an ordinal ranking of countries as impacted by terrorism, from most impacted to least impacted. Introduced by Moussa Bourekba, researcher at CIDOB.
