John Carlin is a journalist who has written for the Financial Times, the Independent, the Observer, the New York Times and El País. He was the Independent´s South Africa chief and authored a major biography of Nelson Mandela. In his talk, he will compare the political figure of Nelson Mandela to the one of Donald Trump, based on his two books on Mandela, Playing the Enemyand Knowing Mandela: A Personal Portrait.
The talk will be followed by drinks.
